2012 PGA Championship: Can Tiger Woods Win His 15th Major Title?

Starting tomorrow, the greatest golfers in the PGA will take to the course in South Carolina for the last major golf tournament of the year. The 2012 PGA Championship tees off on Thursday at the Kiawah Island Golf Resort, and while the event will feature the biggest names in the sport, all the attention will be focused on one player: Tiger Woods.

Woods, currently ranked No. 2 in the world rankings enters the tournament as the favorite to win his first major tournament since winning the 2008 U.S. Open. This is the longest stretch since Woods’ first PGA title in the 1997 Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club. Currently Woods, who will o try to achieve his 5^th victory at this event and 15th career major championship, is listed at +400 to win the 2012 PGA Championship.

Additionally, the156-player roster includes the top 108 players on the Official World Golf Rankings, 32 major champions, and a total of 71 international players representing 21 countries, all competing for the Wanamaker Trophy.
